HQTM-Team was modeling nice cars and mods but they stoped modeling why they stopped? does anybody knows?

What a question, soon or later someone have to stop with doing something, don't you think? In the case of an old game like MM2 then... However, the main cause of the HQTM-Team closing would be the making of the Classic Madness mod pack, that has been in progress for even 4 years, and because of its slow progress they weren't releasing so many cars and mods like they did before, working less too; as they said, this big project has been their curse, released as unfinished at the end of 2007 with the news of the team closing. Then, really only two or maybe three of the four team members were working on it, especially Hummfred, modeler of the team; one of the the members, Tr@pi, already left the team time before the closing.
They've made really nice scratch made cars, especially with great dashboards, very nice special features and good variety. As team has been really great, also for the professionality.

this was something most of us already know , but i still don't know for what does HQTM stands for , or it was just random ?

The team name is made from the acronym of the team members nicknames indeed, and here's their history page, not updated to their closing and it's mainly about their website, though. In the home page in the Classic Madness release news is written more info. Other info are present in their releases Readme files.
The Tr@pi's team left in about 2004 isn't well known, anyway.

good to know it , and really bad for them to quit , i understand their decision but i would've liked them to stay with us for couple of years more
