Hello
I know that I posted Chicago on here a while back, but I want a new thread, since that one is old. I am making Chicago for MM2. I am using the map directly from mm1. I opened the MM1 .ar.
It will have no traffic, but will be almost and exact replica of MM1's Chicago. Hope you like it!
Chicago for MM2!
Making project/Cancelled, check topic for MM1 conversion

That's impressive, great work Carking. I guess that you've used the MM1 Chicago map as blueprint to make all the roads, grounds, etc, it looks really similar.
I know, make it all as PKG is way easier than make it in PSDL with roads and intersections for traffic, but at least it has to turn out very nice.
Ok for the new topic.

Making moving props(Trains,boats..) is like making Road, just make some kind of roads, and the object will follow it

My favorite city in the entire series, I must admit that I haven't touched Midtown Madness III but it went a little bit off and MS was dumb to sell the MM developers.
Anyway, the point is - if you succeed you'll make my life a lot easier and fun! Chicago has an epic design - but aren't you missing the river...? Also, how hard would it be to import/re-create the MM1 tracks to this later?

What more are you missing/making different?but will be almost and exact replica of MM1's Chicago
Updates. I started the walls around the freeway, they just need to be textured. I made some buildings. This project might take a little time, because of all the texture's looking. And zac, this is MM1's chicago, not an exact replica of the real chicago.

Very nice progress, it look promising, try to get most possibly the copy of MM1 Chicago. Keep it up and good luck with it, there's still a lot to do.
