I've bought this game after some days the European release date, and sincerely I'm a bit disapponted by it. The gameplay isn't well done; the cars have a pretty weird behaviour in steering, and the driving is a mix of NFS Most Wanted and NFS ProStreet, but IMO the NFS Most Wanted driving is better for a game with street races and cop chasings. The NFS ProStreet driving instead wasn't so bad and it's appropriate to the races types (legal street racing).
The graphic seems worse than ProSteet, also if the graphic engine is always the same. The shadows still have bugs and the HDR effect is too much, like the motion blur; this gives to the graphic a too showy look. Important thing is that the FPS is too instable also if the viewed scene isn't so heavy, and sometimes the game freezes for few seconds for no apparent reason.
The career mode is good, with the news of the missions, but doing them the races looks a bit useless to do.

Here some pictures with the maximum graphic settings. The original screen resolution was 1280x1024; 8x AA and 16x AF.

I'm at a good point of the career actually, after beaten the Hector clan. Still to unlock the cars class 2 and 1 and the Pro performances type upgrades.

Some pictures are too blurry. But I like the effect of the real-time shadows. And that camaro is SO HOT!

Good luck finishing the game.

Pravegm007, maybe play it with those game consolle should be better for the gameplay, but the PSP and PS2 versions of NFS Undercover are really bad. :P Why would be much better for you?

I've seen the screenshots of the PS2 version and respect the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions there are lot of differences, especially in the graphic, more bad; also, some cars models are different between them.

If you have a modern TV screen you can directly use it as PC monitor; with the other ones you can use them as a second screen throught the video connector (yellow connector), just have a pretty good video card.

@pravemg they still make ps2 games? Upgrade your console dude. Graphics = 20x better. Ps2 were made in 01 (even If you have a 2nd ten the specs are the same) so to get a better gaming experience getting a better of graphics card or a better cosole ;)

I've completed this game some weeks ago. I can say that's a mediocre game, with a discussing graphic, driving and career story. Once again a NFS game has disappointed me, lets look forward.
Here some screenshoots of the completed game with some cars unlocked throught a savegame editor available at NFS Nations website here.
