That's the spirit! The computer WON'T die because so many people use it for non-gaming purposes. What will happen to the people who aren't gamers that need computers for work, what will happen to them? The PC won't die in our time period, I am sure of that. The computer will die when all the electri...

Me too. It is true that all the modern game systems have internet, but they don't have the other stuff that comes with a computer. The game systems are starting to cost more than a computer! Like, the PS3 is around $350-$425! You can get a new computer for like $299.99. The fact that the computer ha...

I know, it really stinks. That is probably what will happen, awalwang. :x The PC won't become ENTIRELY useless, it'll become useless in the form of games until all the PC games are gone. This is really depressing.

OK, that makes since. So now the MM series is discontinued for PC and the stuff is becoming more valuable. Wow. That is a depressing thought. In business, that makes since. People buy the game and the console. Its a good business idea but not a good selling idea.

Yeah, Asteroids used to be an arcade game in the 1960s - 1970s and then it apparently was such a hit, they made a version for computers as well. Apparently the game is so old, I tried using it on my newer computer and if I moved the ship and fired a lot of times, the game would ignore my next moveme...

I have 2 computers: the one that I use now is my new computer, 2.0 GHz processor 1.13 GB Memory, 80 GB hard drive: prefect for me. My second computer, 11 , maybe 12 years old, like about the stone age. Pentium 2 processor, like some memory under 128 MB, and hard drive like 10 GB. Everytime I try to ...

Probably for either 2 reasons. 1, the game is not programmed to go at the certain level. 2, your computer might not be powerful enough to do it.

And about NYC, I found some problems. On trace menu (the one where you hit ESC when racing) if I press any of the items, the game crashes.

I think I might already have it set to the right setting. I used the previous NYC and I set it to a different thing and it might have kept my options, I have to check. OK, I tried it and it works. I set the graphics right, so its all good.

Well, I got to try out the mod and I thought it was pretty cool. I tried NYC first and the game loading screen had just about finished loading when it had the "Heap Overrun" error. I am pretty sure that the "Heap Overrun" error has something to do with some limited amount of memo...

Thanks for answering the questions, Richard. Awalwang and Franch88, thanks for telling about the default car thing, that is probably why. I can't believe I didn't think of that myself! Thanks anyway, guys. :D :D

Well, I moved all of the .ar files (except the base ones for the game) and everything is alright but when I get to the Car Selection screen, the game freezes there. I think that for all the trouble that I am getting with this, I might just go back to my regular mods and cars. I would keep the Overha...

That is what I am doing. I am moving my mods here: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\ . I am just leaving them in the folder of the MM2 folder but I am deleting the cars because I have so many. If it turns out I don't like the Overhaul! Mod I am just going to go back to using my old ones. :) Edited b...
