How long can human species survive? If we can avoid a WWIII, find a solution to global warming, but the end is sure.... After some million years, sun will exhaust its fuel and finally become a white dwarf. Earth's temperature will drop beyond freezing point, thus making life impossible.

Agreed. Besides, most of it is hyped up. The sun alone will take 5 BILLION years to die (not millions). Global warming? Well let me say that you won't stop it just by buying a Prius; it won't be stopped completely by anything humans can do. In the near future, I believe science will save the world, mainly technology, but they'll have to know how to use it.
