Fifth news. GT and HummersRock are my beta testers. Riva, you're welcome, I've sent to you an e-mail at the address that I already have. The same I've done to GT and HummersRock.
The beta testing especially needs hints about the car tuning and some dashboard issues.

This is the stock of the situation now.

Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Made the 3D car model for MM2 with the detachable parts and the driver in ZModeler;
3. Used the other paintjob textures;
4. Made the dashboard with the two versions;
5. Selected the sounds to use for engine and horn;
6. Made the damages file and a first version of the car tuning;
7. Created a first version of the Readme file.

Things to do:
1. Do the vehicle showcase;
2. Adjust the car tuning files (few things on performances);
3. End the Readme file.

Soon the the release date. Stay tuned.

Sixth news. GT, HummersRock and Riva are my beta testers. I've already received a beta test report from Riva: the tuning still need to be more similar to the theorical one and the 6th gear isn't used in automatical transmission; the handling and the dashboard are good, and the whole conversion is great.
I'll contact GT and HummersRock soon to ask something of their impressions about the beta version testing.

I can give a release date, also reported in the car Readme.txt file:

The date is tomorrow, 23th of February 2008.

In this date the car maybe will be available at this site, MM2 eXtreme. I'll sent it to Gafaddict tomorrow to let it be available at least on that date.
Of course, I give my permission to publish this car also in other important sites, like MM2 Brasil and MMArchive.

Seventh news. My fifth car conversion, the 2003 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept modeled by Burner and converted for Midtown Madness 2 by me, is available for now only at MMArchive! Soon it'll be available also here at MM2X and at MM2BR.

Eighth news. I want to infor you that soon there will be a nice surprice for this great car.
It'll be out celebreting the 3rd birthday of the team MM2 Color, that creates mods for MM2 and paintjobs for the HQTM-Team and Nitro Team cars. I'm a member of that team.
When it'll be out, I'll publish the news here.

Nineth news. The 2003 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept Add-ons Pack has been released from some days, but it isn't available at MM2 Color website, the HQTM-Team car colors and mods makers.
There's no news about the 3rd birthday of the team MM2 Color. Anyway I've decided to publish the link to download it here.

The 2003 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept Add-ons Pack is a pack that includes seven new colors to be used with the HQTM-Team's program MM2 Car Skin Changer, now available in the 2008.04 version.
This add-ons pack has also the red version of the car dashboard with the night version. The 2003 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept Add-ons Pack is available here.
Check the Readme file for the How to use guide and other info.

I don't have made a new tuning for it. I've thought to do a thing like that, making a more arcade tuning with a better handling, but I wanted it in the MM2 CSC program. Unfortunately isn't possible to make add-ons packs with that program, only textures packs.
However you can well do it yourself, just use the tuning files from another car, change the files names and make a patch .ar file.
