Does the .asnode affect the behavior of bots?

I was trying to make another .pkg file of default cars wherein ai bots uses custom paintjobs(edited shaders). I decided to hide those cars in the selection screen. so I exclude the files in the main directory of tune folder. such as the .info, .asnode, .mmmirror

One question does the .asnode data affect the way BOTs drive the car? well I guess it doesn't. I just wanted to make sure of it.

The .asnode files are used for only the playable cars, which are used also for AI police and races opponents. Maybe they affect also the driving of the AI vehicles, but they look to be made only for the controlling by the player.
In fact, the normal one has the values for steering sensibility and the value for the speed of the wheels steering. The "_dash" one, instead, has the values for the dashboard elements positioning, rotating, zooming, etc.

Yeah I thought the same about it. But I kept them incase I'm still not sure.

Whoa !! Does this mean the normal asnode has the ability to control how sluggishly the steering handles (incl. how sluggishly it returns/centers back) ?

Yes, it's used especially for that. Almost all the buses made for MM2 have a slow rotating and returning of dashboard steering wheel and front wheels steering.

For bots he means the AI controlled vehicles, those of cops, races opponents and traffic.
