Impala Police Car crashes game when i press enter

Is the Impala Police car found on this site page 2 missing lights? Because when i press enter, the lights do not turn on and no police siren, however my game crashes saying an error occured. I hope HQTM can fix this problem.

Do you have the addon_vehtypes.ar ? You need that to add the sirens in

I suggest you to download MM2GameLoader and use it. It will solve your problem.

Hi,

I installed the MM2GameLoader, but my game still crashes when i press the enter key for some reason. I extracted the MM2GameLoader application file to my MM2 folder, and i dragged the !csi.ar file into MM2gameloader. When i run the game, it still doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? i still can't get the sirens and lights to flash.

The Impala does come with sirens and flashing lights, I don't need to get it somewhere else right?

Did you run MM2GL and then you clicked Run the game or you just run Midtown2.exe

At least one time, you have to run MM2GL and click Run the game. The program will prepare all necessary files. If it don't work after that, then please post me content of MM2GameLoader.log

You can also go to our webpage, to mods section and download addon_vehtypes.ar if you don't know how to use MM2GL.

Impala Police Version has sirens and flashing lights.

sorry, didn't notice the edit button.

I used the addon_vehtypes.ar file before, but it didn't work for the impala, but other cars i d/l works fine. With the MM2GameLoader, i picked the midtown madness 2 folder and it detected the !csi.ar file. I clicked run game, i get to choose my car, and when it starts loading, the game disappears and i end up being at my desktop. After this, in my midtown madness folder, theres 2 extra files: !!!_share.ar and MM2.lock. The game won't even launch now, I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

The following is what my MM2Gameloader log file says: MM2 GameLoader 0.32

Try this:
1. Remove addon_vehtypes.ar from your game directory
2. Rename ksboss toyota.ar to ksboss toyota.ar_off
3. Rename ksboss toyota.ar to ksboss mviale3.ar_off
4. Run MM2GL and click Run the game

If it still doesn't work, please write here what .ar files do you have in your game directory.

Hi, it still doesn't work.

I have the following .ar files:
mm2aud.ar
mm2audex.ar
mm2core.ar
mm2tex.ar
!cis.ar

I removed the other 2 cars but when i run the game in MM2GameLoader, it brings me back to my desktop.

You said that you used MM2GL, so why don't you have !!!_share.ar in your game directory?

You can also try to:
1. remove !!!_share.ar
2. download addon_vehtypes from our website
3. run the game (without MM2GL)

Maybe it will help.

Hi, the link you gave me to the new MM2GameLoader won't open. This file is only 116KB while the other one i d/l was over 300KB. Is this the right file?

It's the correct file. I just downloaded it and the size is 370KB. I also unpacked it to check if it worked and there was no problem with it. Please try to download it once again.
