I found a nice carradio from the 60's (Becker europa). I think this will fit to all cars.
I'll redraw it for putting it in cm style

Speeding at a clear night in Crazy Neigbourhood, the guys from the broadcast station are playing "American Pie" ...

It would look better, if i had corected the lights and shadows, but it's already quite nice

Uhm, i couldn't find any config files for the cd-player, so i can't turn it off. It doesn't seem to be a texture, it looks more like an by MM2 generated number that uses the system font.

Sure it appears only when you play an audio CD. Maybe in the game .ar files there are the textures with these mumbers, like the textures for the HUD. I haven't find any textures of that numbers, so they are simple text numbers.

Shame, I think the numbers spoil it, so maybe if they cant be adjusted make a new texture which fits around them.

It looks ok, I mean the design and idea, but I see that the CD player skin still needs some work in Photoshop (or other program). The border doesn't look too good and there is something red near to number "2", I think that it should be removed. Please put it on one of the CM dashboard screen, so we'll able to see how it compose to the dashboard, ok

Much better, but:
1. There is still something wrong near to FM button.
2. I think that the lines (in background) you should just draw, do not use photo. Then it will have the same style as rest of the dashboard. What do you think
