I'm most impressed with the DX10 abilities. But I'll need to change my whole computer to see this. But I think it's worth paying few thousants for a gr8 PC to play newest games. I'm waiting till spring and changing my old machine.

It says so because your processor is made in HyperThreading technology. It is something like dual core. It just feels it like there were two processors installed ;)

Hypertrading = emulation of the 2nd CPU
Dual Core = 2 Real CPUs :P

I prefer dual core E6600 [maybe even upcoming quad core] + 4GB Ram

but I saw working a dual core here and it's creazy in comparison with my comp

I upgraded my toy with some serious parts. Now I have:

MSI K9N SLI-2F
Athlon64 X2 5600+
GEIL Ultra 2GB CL4 800mhz
Chieftec 560-A12C

Still got Gainward 7950GT Golden Sample - it's fast enough ;)

Photo of interior with perfect cable placement :P

is it ok when I call you crazy ? Damn, supercomputer mate !! Nice ram :o and crazy GFX :o :o Thx for the pic ;)

^^

My friend bought him new pc ...
Dual core E6600 (standard 2.4GHz, now running at 3GHz ) and he gets CPU temp like 23°C wtf
Asus P5B Deluxe mobo
Asus Geforce 7900GS gfx card
Corsair 4GB Ram
500GB sata Western Digital

Extracting a rar file on his comp goes much faster than on mine haha ( but what do you expect with 2x3GHz) :>

(if you want pics I have a few ^^)

you don't wanna see mine lol, too messy cablemanagement perhaps

Intel processors are always cooler than AMD. I just made polystyrene noise dampening on left and upper panel of my PC. It's not a jet engine anymore :P

Your friend got Windows Vista? 4GB ram is a lot ;) Show some pics of his machine.

Just got a brand new iMac a week ago:

17" monitor (and box...)
2.16ghz Intel 2 Core Duo Processor
2GB of memory
500gb Harddrive (340GB free)
Mac OS X 10.4.10
DVD-RW drive
Oh ye, and wireless keyboard & mouse

This is a fast thing. It edits and renders video clips at breakneck speed. Only problem is that it doesn't work with my MIDI keyboard (a Yamaha PSR-295, which might be broken actually).
