I will buy a new computer very soon (within this and a month) and it will contain the GF GTX 260

New upgrade for my latest PC. I've changed the CPU fan with the cool Thermaltake Blue Orb FX. The old one was a crappy Akasa model, not appropriate for the CPU in full load.
The next planned upgrade is to change the graphic card with the new ATI Radeon HD4870, of ASUS or Sapphire.

In this post there's the configuration of this computer. I hope to take pictures of it one day.

I just bought the Asus Nvidia ENGTX260 (lol this card is just too crazy & it's soooo big) I measured it and it's like 30 cm (yes that is very big for a GFX) long, which will force me to buy another case and PSU lol (current psu is too old probably + only 480W, but it turns off at an overload of eg 70W (so at 550W)

you should definitly take some pictures so I can see your crazy config ! I'll do it within this and 1 month when I have all my parts for the new computer

By the way, I've done that planned upgrade, changing the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT with the ATI Radeon HD4870 of ASUS. The model name is EAH2900.
The performances with Colin McRae DiRT are very good now.

powercolor = bad brand , have some exp with it, just buy gigabyte or asus cards

hmm, I think 550w is quite the limit, better take a higher Wattage PSU (eg for the cpu & gfx card ! )

there is some website where you can calculate how much power your computer needs, but I forgot the url lol

I've got a digital camera and finally here there are pictures of my latest PC. Its specifics are here; the differences there are in the keyboard, that now it's a Microsoft Reclusa, and in the graphic card, that now it's an ATI Radeon HD4870 of ASUS. More, there's the Thermaltake Blue Orb FX as CPU fan.
