i know tey make cars and mods and cities what i mean is that when you have shader mod installed you cant use any othere addon cars, cities tracks wit it

Are you sure? In this moment I have Shader Mod 2 installed and at least 15 between cars, mods and tracks... And the game works fine.

Albee, The Shader Mod 2 Gold make also some modifies in the MM2 cities besides the textures (it add a nice effect of reflections by coping some SF objects) editing some files in Tune folder. Sure there are some conflict with some of your files. Try to remove some .ar file, especially cities and mods.

I haven't installed anything except cars, and I tried running it even on a "naked" MM2. It just crashes on loading.

nevermind i had to run mm2 from gameloader to get my addons aas well sm2.
i got by fine with shadermod gold edition, 21 add on cars and 5 add on tracks

GO SHADER MOD2GOLD EDITION!

really is it released ? became like time, been waiting too long for this and they postphoned the deadline way tooo many times

btw. what's the difference between full & lite

(except the filesize)

Lite just retextures, Full adds extra things, like the reflection in the pond, etc.

It was a bit dissapointing to see that that one pond near the Golden Gate Bridge appears to be the only one that has had that effect. So no Saint James' Park or that fancy structure at the Roof Wars building for us. Hope they expand that into the future. Seeing those effects on the rivers and sea would be a dream =3
