I downloaded an add-on car/track or mod for MM2, what do I do next?
After you download a car, open the game install folder, usually is My Computer -> drive C -> Program Files -> Microsoft Games -> Midtown Madness 2.
Now open the downloaded car file with WinZip or WinRar, and extract the .ar files in the MM2 folder.
Once extracted, start the game. Your car will be available in the vehicle selection menu.

How do you download an add-on/mod?
It's really easy, after you entered in the tracks section click on the name of the track you want or on "Download Now" button, type the displayed password, click again on "Download Now" button and the download will start.
How can I add add-ons/mods in my MM2 with extension .7z? I downloaded them in my MM2 program file folder, but they doesn't appear in my game.
You have to open the .7z file with a program called 7-Zip or with WinRar, and then extract and place in your main MM2 game folder the .ar file.
How do you get add-ons/mods with .rar files to work?
Download WinRar program, open the .rar file with it and extract the .ar file in it in your game folder.
