What's up everyone?

Is anyone still around here? :) I remember the nostalgia of using this site, downloading mods and getting a heap overrun and thinking that all mods here are fake and not being able to figure out that I need to get rid of some mods for it to work, etc, etc.

Then figuring out how to use Zmodeler and making my own cars for the first time, watching Silent1Unknown's 3D modelling tutorials.

It's been a long long time, since 2011. I quit making stuff and interest in this game by around 2014 and never really opened this site much after that. But MM2 will always be an important game to me as it was one of the very first games I played as a kid and liked a lot.

I remember having people like HummersRock, Aaro4130, Carking, CarLuver69, NiAlBlack, Hastantyo and many more around (sorry if I messed up your username :) ). Those were great times, learning from everyone here on how to make cars and maps was also very interesting.

Seeing "member for 15 years" or "member for 16 years" on the posters of some of the stickied threads really puts time into perspective, it doesn't feel like so much time has passed.

Anyway how's everything for the ones that are still around here? Hope you're all doing great and I wish you a Happy New Year!

What's up! I'm a relatively new user (didn't participate in the community until 2020 although I had been browsing before) but I remember your name from some really cool mods, including the fictional island one. Good to see you are still around. Although this site is still THE main place for the MM fandom (without this website I think that fandom would be gone), chatting mostly occurs in the Midtown Club and Madness Crew servers on discord, so you may wanna check those out. Basically the site and Discord complete each other.

Oh that island with a broken bridge! I remember that one. I also once made a small map with huge pipes that you could drive in and hit cop cars at a very high speed XD. Yes, I'm in the discord sever but I just lurk around there with a different username and never really post anything.

Hi e-cobra, it has been a long time. Nice to see you again. I'm still doing fine, still pick up MM2 occasionally to test drive the odd vehicle now and then. The game's abilities have been majorly upgraded by the community since the last time I saw you here (you can play Cops and Robbers in single player now, for one) so if you do decide to start playing MM2 regularly again you may enjoy it even more. And happy new year to you too, hope life is treating you well.

Thanks for the visiting after long time, welcome back e-cobra! :D Happy New Year also for you. Yeah, you've given a little contribution in the community and with your releases, that has been nice of you. :)

Hello. I stopped making mods but I still play the game and publish screenshots sometimes on the MM2 Facebook Page. Happy new year for you too :D

Now that is a name I haven't seen in awhile. I also logged back into MM2x recently, to see how the old hangout was doing. Hope everything is going well for you e-cobra. :)

Oh the nostalgia!!!

Was changing passwords and came across the site (flagged cause I used a password that was compromised in another site). It's been a long time since I've been here and also played the game.

Really miss those times... :(

Hi! Good to see some people still around. Pretty much all mod making and the community that follows it is dead across all games it seems... you wanna put time in perspective, I started modding in 1999, that's 25 years now!

Don't wanna hijack your thread, but wanna share some of my work. Here are some models of mine that are about 10-12 years old.

These are old pics from my email before I got a business email. Now that business went under, along with my email and newer models.

If there is interest, I may release my old backup file I have on a flash drive, but I'll need a host for it, it's almost 2 gigs and has roughly 300 some odd 3D models. Any models that were paid for will have to be left out.

Woah another name I haven't seen in an awhile too, even though I wasn't apart of MM2C's Forums though. Loved your MM1 mods like the Z/28. :D Also, about hosting your backups you might be able to upload them to Google Drive or MEGA if you want.

Nice to see you too Burner. Nice looking models. Like Franch88 I remember seeing some of your work at MM2C as well, however I also seem to recall one occasion seeing you here at MM2X as well years ago, though I think that may have been about 10 years ago, just before I started college

Thanks guys ☺️

Yeah, I did make an appearance here roughly 10-11 years ago.

Some more pics. My work was at the Frankfurt Auto Show, or IAA, as well in Autobild Magazine. It's a concept car I made for the company I used to work for. And here are some textures of mine. These are all 10-11 year old pics.

I think that's all I have that I can find of mine other than my models you guys have seen. I believe everything newer has been lost.
