As you can see the new MM2X Forum has launched!!
I worked hard in the last year for fixing the MM2x V4 problems, and i decided to Make a new Version starting from Scratch..
the new MM2X v5 will be released probably in August and the Forum was the first step to do... and here is it!
MM2X V5 Forum is based on the last phpBB 3 Version, and has a lot of enhancements..
the old platform was very old and buggy during the migration some things changed .. and some broke..
So here some F.A.Q. for the new bugs and the solutions:
as the old phpbb2 used a different hash system for the password storing.. and as results some of the passwords can't be read:
Problem:
I try to login with my old password and the forum tells me that is wrong
Solution:
Do a password recovery, insert a new pass and you can access without problems
Problem:
The bbcode in my Signature is not working correctly
Solution:
enter in your User Control panel -> Profile -> Edit Signature
At the bottom you can see 3 fields:
- Disable BBCode
- Disable smilies
- Do not automatically parse URLs
Remove the selection and click on "Submit"
Problem:
The YouTube Video in my old post does not work, after pressing play it show me an error..
Solution:
edit the post and save it again pressing "submit" and the youtube integration will work again

Great work DjDecibel.
Dubai = Supercarland
When it comes to normal street driving, any car is as good as good as any other. Only the racetrack can truly separate the cars' abilities.

In my opinion, BlameTruth is the Jeremy Clarkson of gamers and gameplay video commentators on the internet. You can follow him on Twitter here

Re: New MM2X Forum
I'm saddened by seeing the forums in a very different way. But whatever, good work on the site.

Re: New MM2X Forum
Yeehaw! This looks like a Professional looking website
The older versions probably were better.. but you can't take off the fact they were Amateur
I've found many of the new functions here really useful.. I can now add youtube links just by adding them! these [youtube] are now just gone!

if you miss any feature just make a request
you can now integrate almost everything in a post, not just youtube.. also a social post, just adding the url in the forum post

Re: New MM2X Forum
That's pretty useful. Now we don't have to put those old tags around our links.

Re: New MM2X Forum
I've read all the recent posts since the last site update, but since I can't read Area 51, I can't mark it as read, so it sticks out with a green "unread posts" icon. Is there any way to mark it as read without actually reading it? Maybe a "Mark all forums as read" link?
EDIT: Sorry for the double-post. I just want to get rid of that "unread posts" icon on the staff forum.

i just added a "mark forum read" link at the end of the forum list in the index.. just check if it works!I've read all the recent posts since the last site update, but since I can't read Area 51, I can't mark it as read, so it sticks out with a green "unread posts" icon.
