SF boat disappeared.

So, the boat in SF is to be found nowhere.

Check if in the mods that you're using (I see you're using a version of the MM2 Revisited mod, but shouldn't be its case) there's the file called sf_ferry.pathset in their .ar files. That's the file for the working of the ferry boat sailing on SF ocean.

I have all RV5 files except the RV5 traffic one. And I'm using tram, traffic and cop mod. Also using RV3 train. I deleted my cop mod, traffic mod and tram mod and still the same.

The Barge should be underground, use Thrillcam for it.

Remove all mods. (Except mm2core.ar mm2tex.ar mm2aud.ar mm2audex.ar)

There should be 1 intruder hiding in there.

I don't know what it is but try to find that file that makes this conflict.

And make sure to delete it when you find it.

I know what I don't have to remove. :wink:
But how to make it work with mods? Even RV5 makes it sink.

LOL ok, If you insist. :P

Since there is hardly nothing we can do, I'll give you my special weapon technic that nobody uses when I install a lot of mods (including Rv5) :D

I used it when I was a little kid since then, when I first joined here, it is very effective.
For example: I don't want smoke to change because of Riva's cars.
So I put the original smoke textures from mm2tex.ar to that SPECIAL overriding file.


This is an overriding file that will absolutely never change the boat pathset again even with a million mods. 8)

Yeah, when the things are so, the best solution is indeed to take the original file from the default game .ar files, and put in in a small mod/patch that will overwrite any change done by other adjunctive .ar files in use. Obviously, the file name needs to be written in way to have it as first of the list in A to Z file name sorting.

I know that but for some reason my Dear is not extracting files.
In a similar way can I also remove those crash course boats from London without removing RV5.1?

To do that, I guess you need to make an empty (0 bytes) file and make three copies of it called london_ferry_crash9.pathset, london_ferry_crash11.pathset and london_ferry_crash12.pathset, place them in the folders directory Race/London and make the .ar file of it. You can include the above said SF edits in it, all in a .ar file.

Gonna bump this thread. I noticed this many years ago. Madness City 3 is the cause of the issue.

What he did was replace the audio for the barge, and lower the model via the banger. He did this so that the radio on the half pipe in his city would play music. A very poor way to do that, but it was the early 2000
