Extracting traffic cars so you can drive them

Hi guys,

First post :) so this may well be in the wrong place - please forgive me if it is! I'm wondering if anyone can help me, please - I'm pretty desperate to get hold of this car for Midtown Madness 2:

to drive in-game, since it's exactly the same as my beloved mini in real life that I'm sadly leaving at home when I go to uni in 9 days time :(. It's one of the traffic cars in a MM2 traffic mod - I'm afraid I've lost the link, and only know the file name, which is 828_trafficmod.

So, I'm looking for either an easy-to-use traffic extractor, so I can extract it and drive it, or a download somewhere - I've had a scout around various MM2 sites, but no luck so far  so I thought I'd ask you guys :)

Thanks in advance,

welol, all you need to do is add .info files or make a mini yourself.

Thanks :). Could you direct me to a thread/web page or something with more info on how to do this? I'm not exactly proficient at this....
or make a mini yourself.
I'm not too great at modelling - tried zModeller once, but failed quite abysmally

Thanks again,

mmh... you should extract the car files and make a new ar file adding the missing files like the .info....
btw.. first ask the permission to the author.. if he gave you the permission i'll help you to make that car a playable car...

PS: Welcome to MM2 eXtreme Forum :)

Yeah, sounds like it might be easier just to model it - I'm not sure who made the mod , so contact would be hard.....

*downloads Zmodeller again and tries to understand* :P

Thanks! :)

The author of that traffic mod is the HQTM Team, and you can
find their link on the main page. Or I could make a 3-d model for
you and get someone to tune it, as I am an excellent z-modeller,
and I haven't got anything else to do :) ...

That would be wonderful, if that's ok with you :D - I have got zmodeller, and a template for the mini, but that's about as far as I got

A template...? What's that? I'm usually accustomed to using blueprints, but it's good to
learn new things, yes?

Do you have a pic of the template? OR could you send it to me (e-mail in profile)

Blueprint, even  That's how amateurish I am at modelling, I don't even know the terminology :p

Yep, emailing it to you now :) Thanks again!!

Well, it's not really interrupting anything, and I can practice my
skill. Just one thing: Would you like a 3d interior or just blacked
out windows?

I don't really mind :) Whichever you would prefer to do! :)

Although could I ask one thing (if it's not too late! :P ) - could it be right-hand drive in the dash, etc.?

Thanks again!! :D

A Fellow MINI Driver

Hey Peoples!
As a fellow mini driver ( I own a 1967 Morris Mini 1100 De Luxe in British Racing Green. By the way, i'm an Aussie so the green goes good. I'm waiting to put the Aussie flag on the roof) and it really saddens me when we don't really see too many decent looking CLASSIC minis on MM2.

These little beasties revolutionized the motoring industry and were actually voted the most influential vehicle of the 20th century!

And personally i think that Alec Issigonis (The creator of this piece of history) should have been knighted.

There are some in existence (for MM2) but none really stand out as excellent models. Well... theres my thoughts.

P.S: Could anyone direct me to where i could find a REALISTIC Dodge Ram from 1997 or later. There is also no decent models of them. They are either tuned to rediculous levels or look too boxy. The challenge is out there! :D
