Alien invasion/smoke mod

I am not sure if its my pc or the mods, but mm2 won't start when I use both mods together.

That sounds weird. Keep both the mods and try to rename the .ar file of the Smoke Mod adding at least five exclamation mark symbols ahead the file name. Run the game and see if that works.
