MM2 vehicle viewer and ultimate tweaker problem

Postby jmmrf99 » Wed Jun 08, 2016 1:05 pm

Hello people.

I can't seem to view my two cars I downloaded for mm2 in these two programs: MM2 Vehicle viewer and Ultimate tweaker. The problem is that it cannot find the pkg file, which is odd because it does have a pkg file with it, otherwise I couldnt play these cars ingame.

Is this a bug or is there a way to solve this?

That's related with the software used to pack all the files. In case the cars you downloaded are unlocked (replacing the .ar file format on it's name with .zip and it's able to be opened), you can extract all the files and repack them into another .zip file, using the default Windows zip file creator. Then, yo just need to repeat the same process as above to turn it into an .ar file.

That problem is related with the way used to make some .ar files, it's not really an issue specific of those programs. I've got to notice that it happens always with the .ar files made with WinZip, instead it doesn't happen with those made with WinRar (at least the older versions) and with 7-Zip, they can be opened.
