MM2 HD Menu Mod

Hello my old friends..
u know the annoying problem mm2 changes the resolution to 640x480 on every launch and resizes all damn windows in background? horrible if you test out your mods..
around a year ago i created a little mod to prevent this (Screenshot).

It changes the menu resolution from ugly 640x480 to a higher one.
In principle any resolution would be possible but every resolution needs proper scaled menu files.

I wanted to create an launcher/patcher with ability to auto download proper graphic packages for all usually resolutions (maybe also languages) before releasing but i never got motivated to work on it,
so i publish it now as it is. maybe i will be motivated if somebody like it..

Zip includes graphic packages and prepatched exe for 1366x768, 1680x1050 and 1920x1080.
(put only one it to your game folder..)

You can also try out the highly experimental hd launcher.
It launches unpatched midtown2.exe and force it to use your current desktop resolution.
looks damn ugly without proper graphics but 'should' work.. (never tested on other machines..)

And yep. i'm still alive.. And still here.. No idea why..

Welcome back Niggie, I remember you from the times of the MNS-Creations team.
Sounds a good mod idea, but the really big file shouldn't make it proper to be handled. I've seen your submission of it and I've done a quick try of the Full HD resolution package, but the game always crashes during the first loading.

sorry for never finishing and releasing my last mods..

i only noticed 2 reasons to crash on startup. first the usually thing with to much mods and second if i try to use for example 1920x1080 graphics if i run 1680x1050..

do you have much other mods in game?
have you tried with patched exe or with launcher?
could you please try it also without any of the included .ar?

i could compress all jpgs but compressed jpgs are so ugly >_<
