How 2 get tracks

I know, there is another topic "how to get cars or tracks" but it only discusses cars. I watched a video. It got 12 likes. It said put copies of the .rar file in the mm2 folder, london, sf, and players folder. I did this, but the map didn't appear. I even did both mirror and normal. How 2 get maps? I'm on a vista, just so you know.

You download a map, you'll get an .rar file. Extract it, and you'll get an .ar file. Move the .ar file to the root of the Midtown Madness 2 folder (where the .exe is located at). You're done, the map is installed, you just gotta run the game and play

Is it possible to use 7zip for this too? Because I read Win.rar you have to pay for it.

Yes, you can use 7Zip instead, which is freeware, but the fact that you have to pay to continue to use WinRar isn't true.

Actually, that is true... (skeptical at first because it's a meme,) but then there's this. Even though, I still want to use 7zip. Thanks for the info though.
