NAW !! I was the one with the joke. Never said you did :P.
Yeah as I say, the reason is the poly/vertex count. MM2 doesn't have enough memory to load the whole city
I even replied to this before, relating to the huge pathset that causes Chicago's short term life span, yet manages to be wayy more moddable than NYC itself. Sadly what you've said is the moral of the entire topic and so have i learnt the same. But heyy, mine still doesn't work though. Say... if certain features could be disabled in-game, like multiplayer service or the inbuilt dmusic player, we could have more heap memory. Dunno if its possible.. or if it may even work in the first place :roll:. But it'll be Golden for those who don't always use these features.
