I've upgraded my PC to Windows 7. The game works properly, but there are minor problems with the video. When you are in the menu screen, it runs in software mode even you are in hardware mode. There is also an In-game problem. Where are the smoke effects? like the tire smoke and engine smoke. Is there something that can fix the video? Since, MM2 the game has 100% working properly. :?

Menu always runs software.

You have to type a cheat for smoke, or you can use Revisited for MM1 to auto enable it

Well, I don't know if it is within the OS or my Video Card Driver. I remember when my pc is running Windows XP, the video runs perfectly. The menu screen is in hardware mode and smoke effects are visible. I don't think there's a cheat for smoke.

It's like Aaro says, I get the software rendering too in the vehicle selection menu. The MM1 cheat to enable the smoke effect for the wheels is "/smoke"; during a gameplay, prss Y key, write it and press Enter to enable the smoke.

Correction : CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F7 , Y is for MM2 :P

It's ok guys I know the hotkey for typing cheats and/or chat for multiplayer. So I tried to test it myself, it works. This explains MM1 is more compatible in Windows XP or lower in my opinion. :)
