I bought an original Box version for 40 bucks.

So they're now old enough to be sold for big prices, like antiques?

He's taking advantage of the collectors factor, and since seems like it's still brand new in the box...

I had already noticed the high price that some old games can get when are still new. Actually, it's considered the collecting factor, the buy is firstly meant for that.
I've got to see a brand new English language MM2 box in sell for about 60 Euro on eBay, but that's really exaggerated, it's about 110 Euro with the delivery costs...
