MM2 on Windows 7

Postby Hotshot » Wed Feb 18, 2015 6:20 am

Just getting back into MM2 on a new(ish) computer after my old hard drive was eaten by Linux source codes (I have a Windows OS, so it did not mix well), and it won't load the game. Reason: I don't have a proper display driver. I have the XP Patch that is supposed to work and the widescreen fix. Is there something I'm missing?

Can you post more details about your problem? Does it give any error message or just crashes suddently? Do you have any mods installed?

The Windows XP patch and also the Speedboot should be enough to be able to play MM2 on Windows 7. Ok use the widescreen resolutions if needed. Other things that can be done to a link to the game are assign the Windows XP SP3 compatibility and always run it as administrator.
