IMO each member should get a chance to display what they've done so far and based on that, others will vote them in respective categories. Not a compulsion, but if everyone displays their work, then it would be easier to chose the best for each category instead of relying on memory.
So how's this idea?

In theory that would be a good idea, but in practice I doubt more than 3 or 4 people actually do that list of their this year stuff. Also, this would make people only focus on the users who do that and forget other people.

Voted. Wasn't really able to vote for all categories due to not being active enough.

I agree with what carking said earlier on about how it should be done on a poll website, I spent many many hours on Excel calculating votes lol.

Anyway, I'll hand in my votes soon enough.

Doing it on a poll website would create insecurities, where users could fake their IP addresses and vote several times for them-self for the same category. This PM way is the best, even if it does require lots of calculations in the end.

About the vote couting thing, I don't mind to count them and make sure everything is correct (when I give the results I'll also give the number of people who voted and all the votes everybody received and the number of white votes).

It could be easier to vote, but it would have the problems Aaro4130 said. I think I can say I trust in everybody on this community and nobody would try to do that, but it's a risk we can avoid.

I asked you about the missing categories in you votation. Since you used numbers for categories it's kinda hard to find the ones you didn't voted. I forgot to ask you again.

Also, I'm going to extend the votation period until January 15th because not enough people voted.

Die hard means a person who likes MM very much.
Breakout means a member who has made a lot of things one-by-one the 1st time in 2014.

Seahawk is right, just copy the category list from my first post on this topic, add for each one the user in your opinion should win (in case you think anybody deserves, just leave it empty or write something like white vote) and send it to me via PM.

Most die-hard fan, it's somebody who can't loose the interest for the game. You know, people come arround and they'll eventualy get tired of MM2, a die-hard fan won't. Take a look for somebody who's still really active on the forum and is a member for a long time, always showing a constant interess for the game.

Breakout, something or somebody that surpasses any previous person or thing. Like, imagine a forum user that for his skills, creativity, or any other quality important for this forum is better than anyone else until now. Or somebody releases a mod that is way better than any other ever released of the same category, like a car with quality, originality or being fun to play shows better than any other car ever released, or a track better than any other. The creator of such mod also would deserve winning that category.
