Better question: Why do you want to? Unless it's a scratch-made car, you own no rights to the files involved, so just let people modify whatever they want for their own usage like everyone else here allows now.

Every single locking method has been cracked now anyway. :P

No matter any new locking method created, there is always going to be a way to extract it. No exceptions. Using my undisclosed method, I can extract any AR file regardless of the locking method. All files, no corruption. There are a few other community members here that have another unlocker for the Maxoff locker as well.

Yea let's create a deterrent keeping others from contributing to the MM2 community. You joined the scene nearly 10 years too late, son. Expect unhelpful and irrelevant responses every time.

If anything, our responses are saving him time. Many folks here, including you, do not make their own models. I find it funny how people get all defensive when someone takes something from their conversions, when they didn't even make the content in the first place. Often, the model is the only thing worth stealing from those addons anyway...

If you actually made it yourself, that's a different story. Either way, there is a reason you're only now learning about this. We've had the ability for years, we just don't use it for anything more than personal modification.

Oh, reasonable enough. In that case, could you please convert this to MM2? And can you please leave it unlocked, I kinda want to edit the wheel and interior texture. I'll only be doing about 5% of the work to have this car in MM2 the way I want it, but of course you understand it'll just be for personal use.

That's perfectly acceptable, actually.

That actually sounds perfectly fine to me. I leave my stuff unlocked for that exact reason, personal modification. I've even let people use my work in their own mods on numerous occasions. The spirit of modification is what keeps this game alive, and I'm not anal retentive enough to prevent it in my own work.

I even leave secret messages for people who like to snoop around. :D

Yeah, that's cool. I mean, "hey look, it's the new [insert car name here] by [insert author]! You know what would be cool? Monster truck wheels"

That's the spirit! :D

Also, gotta love when people don't publicize their work or ask for support in their signatures. Also don't forget to check my unfinished mods and donate to my Paypal

Also, one of my trucks
