I knew it! Ok here's what happen I'am roaming around San Francisco with ai opponents perambulating in the city like what I'm doing. One time I was confused why are there 4 cops pursuing me at a time? Until I stopped. One of them continue to drive ahead. And I noticed it was the opponent infront of me he's chasing. Did this happen to you? tell me.

Yes, this was discovered by Diatosta a lot of time ago and I also tried it after that and that happened to me.

when i play at the hills are alive checkpoint, i stay behind a cop and wait until an opponent approaches. then i realized, the cop started to chase the opp.
