You know, the one thing I never understood about Need for Speed III is how ridiculously fast the opponents are in knockout/tournament mode, compared to your average-speed aggressive drivers in single race mode.

To be honest, the reason why I started playing NFS 3 is because I fell in love with the soundtrack. I also like how the song changes whenever you drove through different sections of the track, it's incredible.

NFS3 is by far my favorite NFS game. Ever.
Come on...what about Porsche Unleashed? Need For Speed II was better than NFS 3. Plus, the Japanese version of High Stakes had a Skyline GT-R (R34), which was converted to other versions, then HS has the old school Junkie XL, not the trash that was on ProStreet.

Need for Speed Prostreet was ok....putting the newer Pontiac GTO into the corners was as hard as "putting a sweater on a sick hippo".
the real life counterpart is actually from Australia, and they can show you a 700 horsepower Ford or Holden on the TV storming around Bathurst, that famous race track, also dubbed "Mount Panaroma". And the Holden, or GTO can definitely get around a corner correctly in reality.

Even if the GTO is a sick hippo and the Challenger bounces higher than a Volkswa- errr i mean Rabbit (or bounces like Poterzibe), I still like ProStreet.

You still think NFS III is the best? I can respect that, though.

but you got to admit, criterion games can make one heck of....

I'm on and old school fps binge. Quake, Doom, Blood, Duke Nukem, etc...

I wish I had known about Blood sooner, it's awesome!

That reminds me, has anyone ever heard of the SEGA Game Gear? My brother gave it to me and a few other 90's consoles and games, and i have found in the bin are Primal Rage and Sonic 2. Weirdly enough, i found Sonic The Hedgehog 2 more amusing than Primal Rage.

Again, in Need For Speed 3 and 4, the opponents oddly swerve, moving left to right constantly. Good game tho, got to see the next one, totally reminds me of the Scalextric track for MM2.

I've never owned a Game Gear before, but I do remember playing it's games on emulators. Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble and Sonic Drift 2 were great in my opinion, I couldn't stop playing them all night.

Speaking of Sonic, has anyone ever gotten this little easter egg before? I never found out about it until recently...

And the opponents in NFS 3/4 do get annoying sometimes, simply because they move like remote-controlled cars and they just won't get out of your way unless if you can find a way to smack 'em into the walls.

NFS2 is better than NFS3? Not really. Also don't say that NFS4 is better just because it has a Nissan ;)

And remember, NFS 2 SE had THREE secret cars, instead of only the El Nino. Plus, in High Stakes, you can swap cars while playing the game, even to a Chevrolet Caprice to a Camaro SS coupe to a SUV!

Plus, High Stakes had the SLK Kompressor from Mercedes, then again, that is not JUST a Nissan. It's a Skyline R34 GT-R. At least you didnt call it a Datsun, tho.

Sorry for double posting. (I think it might look more presentable)

There are some Sega Game Gear's goin for $100 USD. that's pretty good, espacially considering I got a PSX for 15 dollars. And the money actually was from when I went to the store for a bottle return exchange. :P
