Are there any of the planes flying around?
No, MM2 couldn't support them. Side note: the airport (Meigs Field) has been demolished in 2003.

Yeah, it's, not, Meigs Field, anymore, it's now, called, Northerly Island Park, and BTW, that area north, of, Navy Pier, isn't, a pier, it's, the, Water Purification/Filteration Plant, :P

Nope sorry, the 2 main issues (crashes and freezes) cannot be fixed.
The freezes are caused for some reason by the .bai file, but I can't figure out why, so I cannot fix it.
The crashes could be caused by the fact that I put all the props in the props.pathset file, making it too big. In stock MM2 cities the majority of the props pathsets are defined in the .psdl file, but I could not do the same for Chicago, since I had to split some roads in 2 to avoid bound problems, making it impossible to add PSDL pathsets to them.

Best city addon for MM2 ever :) Chicago is such a classic city. I wish someone would sort it out and make it a perfect conversion, without any problems. Still, great work!

One of the causes of instability btw may be the fact that the game dislikes many of your bound files

Nice, thanks to your software it'll be useful to test and easily find these problems, I really wish you finish it and share with us.

SuperSecret was busy with his exams some time ago, but maybe now he has some free time to work arround these issues and come up with a more stable version.

Because there are limitations on the software used to generate AI paths for custom MM2 tracks.

There's plenty of different things on this mod from the original map of MM Chicago, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending of your point of view - if it was too easy then it would be too boring as an hobby) modding isn't that straightforward, and even between these two similar titles from the same series and studio, there's plenty more to do than just copying and pasting files. For some reason it took more than a decade and one of the best programmers arround to convert Chicago, don't you think? ;)
