Car Unlock Score doesn't work

I set an addon car's unlock score to 200. But then I booted up the game and made a new professional save it was still unlocked. How do you lock a car then?

Here's how to do it without a lock score but with a certain number of races instead.

Go extract the game files and go to the race folder. There are a couple folders named SF and London. Go in each one and open up the sfrewards or london_rewards spreadsheet. Then just type in the race type, number of races (half, all, or whatever number you
want -1 because it starts with 0), then type the car's name (the car file basename), and that's it. Variant is for unlocking paintjobs, and then you can type in a message in the next box.

If I for example wanted to lock the City Bus, requiring 3 of any race type, would I write All for race type then?

It's a leftover thing from MM1. The Panoz GTR-1 in the original game could only be unlocked in professional mode.

I don't get it, I made the City Bus to be unlocked after winning 3 blitz races but when I won 3 blitz races I didn't unlock anything, why?

Because you have to set it to 2... You must always set it to 1 less race than you want to complete. (this is because the game starts counting the races at 0, not 1). If you do a 4th race, then the bus will be unlocked.

I don't know about the All types of races thing... You could definitely try but I haven't bothered with that before.

And yeah dummiesboy is right... The unlock score is just leftover from the first midtown madness. It has no relevance in the second game.
