Since no one wants fix my DAF's last paintjob, can someone explain to me:

1. How to fix when this...

...turns into this? (how to tell a specific piece of a large texture to go on a specific point of a large object)

2. How to turn this into wireframe and vice-versa for editing:

These are pretty much the last two things I don't know about conversion at this point. The pictures are of a Sterling A9500S, though I'm not actually working on it currently.

Well...I already asked him for a couple of textures and I didn't want to ask for more so soon.
Plus, my DAF is only one example of problems I have with incorrectly mapped textures, so its probably best I learn how to do it myself.

Try to play with the texture clockwise and anti-clockwise rotating, and horizontal and vertical flipping, maybe this will be enough to find the way to let it fit properly to the model. Use the photo editing program that you usually use to do that.
Sometimes there's to face such silly things...

Thanks! Rotating worked for one of the models, now I'll see if it works for the rest...

Its better if you ask me the list of textures you need at once, else Im gonna have to upload files numerous times each time you need permission for. Its not recommended though so take your time. ;) Dont know about (2) but to show the wireframe of the mesh, press W. Im not sure about the wireframe for texture though but that might have something to do with UV map editing or something in ZM1.07 but idk.
And if you need paintjobs made I dont mind making them as long as you got its template.

Thanks for offering to make some skins, too. The DAF's paintjobs are already made, though you could make a few company paintjobs (DHL, UPS, FedEx, or such), which actually would be more appealing than plain paint.
A lot of my projects either have the paintjobs I want or are easy enough to edit (in other words, you can rest easy that I won't ask for a hundred skins :lol: ) ). But I will be able to take you up on the offer a few times.
As far as the DAF paintjob in question, it just needs correctly fitted to the truck.

Unfortunately, I don't have a template for it. I'll need to make one, unless you really want to attempt using the original skin or the actual model. But I don't guess either of those are preferable, correct?

Alright I'll see what I can do hopefully, because lately I've been busy with college and stuff (which is why you guys don't see progress on my Conversion thread either, Photoshop isn't included, its also part of my schoolwork) but we'll see how it goes. No prob about the template then. Maybe I'll do it over the original skin and hope for the best.
