GTA: SA to MM2

Postby Dytak » Mon Mar 17, 2014 2:27 am

Hey guys, did someone know how convert some custom cars or mod cars of GTA SA to Midtown Madness 2? I Already know how that convertion car thing works, but i don't know how import gta sa mod cars, to Zmodeler, you know. To make GTA: SA mod cars to Midtown Madness 2.

Like this car, make it for Midtown Madness 2.

Uh, Greetings.

Import the .dff file of the car to ZModeler 2. Then export it as .z3d. Then open the .z3d in ZModeler 1.07 and work on it as usual. Few things to remember:

-ZM2 (any version of ZM2) must be registered in order to import 3D models
-The .dff file must be unlocked. If locked, then ask the author of the car file for the unlocked version. If unlocked, then ask the author for permission just in case.

For the textures (.txd) you need TXD Workshop, preferably the latest version, which should be version 5. Use that to convert textures inside the .txd file to .tga. Theres a bug after you export them and thats the flipped texture problem. You wont notice it by opening it in Paint.NET but you will in ZM1.07 when you add them to the materials. So you have to open all .tga files and just save them.

Overall you should be alright. Hope this helped... Somehow.
