Does the Cops Ignore Cops only work for the Mustang Cruiser?

Is the parked car model replacer count for all parked cars of the type you choose to replace or just 1?
The parked cars replacer works per city, there is a list that defines the cities where the default parked cars need to be replaced.
The ParkedCars parameter in the .ini file is a boolean that enables the replacer.
The list is defined in the ParkedCars section, for example:

Code: Select all

[ParkedCars] Number=1 PCar1="chicago,giz_pcar%02d_l"
Replaces the parked cars in Chicago with the models giz_pcar01_l, giz_pcar02_l, and giz_pcar03_l (that's the default value actually, but it's just an example). %02d is a wildcard, it gets replaced at runtime with 01,02,and 03

It works for the cars specified in the .ini file. I put the Mustang Cruiser, but you can add any car you wish. At the moment you need to edit the .ini manually, I will add a GUI for that in the future.

You can also do this...

Make a shortcut to MM2HACK on your desktop.

Hold Ctrl and click on both Midtown Madness 2 and then MM2HACK. While holding the Ctrl button, click on either one and it will launch both at the same time.

Great job !!
Thanks for the km/h. I was looking for this in a long time :D

This hack could probably implement the olds MM1 cheat code in MM2. If you could this, that would be awesome. I had so much fun with them back in the day :D

I have updated the tool, now the various lists (sirens, cop cars, etc) can be edited within the tool.

That sounds great, very good work. I hope the other features I suggested you will be implemented next. :)

Better extract all the files from the archive, for first, and only then run it :P
