do you hate cars that have mods attached?

Postby ZachPwnsGaming » Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:21 am

I keep finding cars that have the fire and smoke mod (which I personally dislike) attached in the .ar file. I think that if we wanted the fire and smoke mod, we'd go download and install it ourselves. Having a mod I dislike forced upon me does not seem very nice.

note: I am not trying to nag modellers or converters to stop doing this, I am simply making a statement.

show your opinion in the poll! :) / :x /

Its not so bad, if you want a mod, cause being built-in, it takes up less space. Otherwise, each mod is one less car or track that you can use simultaneously. However, I think it would be nice if people polled to find out what mods their "fans" wanted built-in, instead of just choosing randomly.

Some Riva's cars add-ons include the Fire and Smoke Mod 3.1 and the Showroom Car Selection Screen in the same .ar file, with crediting done in the Readme files. This his choice never annoyed me, and however, he stopped doing that after the request of an user, as far as I remember.
To don't get these modifications in-game, just rename those .ar file using a filename that starts from the letter "N" to the "Z" and without any "!" symbol ahead, of course, so they'll result down the 4 game default .ar files and those modifications won't work.
