I got a new laptop on Christmas and it came with Windows 8 (I installed Windows 8.1 after that btw) but trouble is, MM2 and many other games are not compatible with the OS. I'm thinking of dual booting Windows 8.1 with either these 2 OS:
Windows 7: Better for game than Windows 8.1, but sometimes some compatibility issues with older games (but not MM2 and MM1).
Windows XP: The best for gaming, but support ends on April 2014...
So, what one should I choose?
What OS do you think I should use for dual-booting?

You should get windows 7, and if problems arise, get a virtual machine of Win XP
