I just downloaded a Mini Cooper converted from Shift 2 Unleashed and I have the model opened in Zmodeler right now. What do I do now?

Import other conversions, learn how they're made. Repeat it with yours.

That's the easiest way, tutorials aren't so good. That was the way I learned [by import/learn]

The way suggested by Aaro it's actually a very good way to learn by yourself how to make cars for MM2 already having the 3D model, I did something similar at the time. However, a tutorial can help with figuring out various things such as the files editing and ZModeler program functions, it's good to introduce you into this stuff. You'd already posted this topic question, here it is, with a my reply.

thanks guys. It's strange how I never found out what I did wrong. Then again I really wasn't successful with modding.

@franch88: sorry I couldn't find my first topic, I remember it was in the mm2 cars section

Aaron's way is very good. But if you want a more time-consuming way :P, but perhaps a better way to learn, actually model a car according to Silent1Unknown's tutorial. And you will get the help you need for textures and other things (ie. transparent textures, which you can also learn about here in the forums )

You need to do lots of things to make a car working in MM2, just do all of them right and you'll be successful. Look in Silent1Unknown's tutorials for names that should be given to various car objects in Zmodeler and then look for assembling the .ar file.
Just keep trying and every time you fail, see the tutorial and your work and try to find what went wrong. :)
