MM2 crashing

So I have a problem. Yesterday MM2 was working fine, but today I tried to open it and the movie plays for like half a second, and then MM2 minimizes and gets back to desktop. I try to open it again from the taskbar, but it automaticly minimizes itself, and the only way to close it is by the task manager. I didn't installed any mods, and my OS is Win 7, if that helps in anything.

P.S.- It doesn't give me any error, just minimizes

P.S.2- I've already reinstalled the game and no good

Weird thing, but it doesn't look to be a problem related with the game, should be the OS who causes this. Have you tried to launch the game with administrator rights? Better always do this to play MM2 on Windows 7, though.

Yeah, I've tried with administrator rights, compatibility mode for 98, XP and both. Nothing works

Run a virus check recently? I had problems similar-ish once, ran virus check and found a virus in the MM2 folders. Just a suggestion, otherwise idk

I discovered how to solve it! Somehow, now it only works when I lower my screen resolution in the desktop. And the thing is that it was a general thing! Because my NFS stopped working too. So I hope if you had the same problem (to someone seeking for the same problem), I hope this works for you

P.S.- Curiously, Minecraft seems to work fine with normal resolution, while other games go crazy. Maybe a DirectX problem? As Minecraft is Java.

Edit- Actually, it crashes, but only when going to cruise/ racing/ going out the menu. Going to look for a solution
