Thanks Franch, but the interest kinda came back so I'm using this time to fix some issues this mod had and finishing some more stuff I wanted it to include. Don't worry, soon I'll send you everything.

Today I can finally show what I've been working on during the last days. I created a 3D model of the famous London building 30 St Mary Axe, also knows as "Gherkin". During the last decade, London decided to stop the policy of keeping the traditional architeture and allow the construction of modern looking skyscrapers, and the Gherkin was the project that made it happen. I also chose to replicate this building instead of many others because it's a really iconic building for it's shape and also my personal favourite.

This 3D model fits really well on the game, it's properly scaled (I used the Tower Bridge and London Eye as scale references) and it was placed with some accuracy (as everybody should know, both San Francisco and London doesn't replicate the real life cities, and the replicas of real life buildings aren't placed precisely, so finding the exact place to put it is impossible). Also, the cars can drive between the entrance poles and get to the hall. Here's a game screenshot and a MM2VV picture (even at max zoom out it can't fit at the screen in game, and if a get a bit more distant of it, it disappears):

It still needs a concrete floor that I'll make soon. I also have been fixing and finishing some incomplete stuff from the alpha version, resizing textures for lower resolutions to fit better in game and creating night textures. Very soon the final beta version will be avaliable here in MM2X. :)

Thank you for your kind comments, guys.

I'm trying to finish everything in order to send the complete mod to Franch88 today, and I just added a new feature to it: all the water animated textures in San Francisco are now semi-transparent. They just the same textures of original MM2 but semi transparent. Also, the alpha channel is an inverted mask of each texture, creating an illusion of reflection of the sky in game:

The effect in game is really cool, check this (MM2HD+Revisited V5):

By the way, the lake of the screenshot above is compatible with Shader Mod 2 (my mod will not replace the lake of that other graphics enhancing mod).

This effect isn't avaliable for the London water textures since it would allow to see the underground tunnels in some parts of the river.
