Hehe, yup. Does look a lot like Peach's castle, nothing wrong with that imo, I think its just the angle that it was taken at that gives it the funny look.

Thank you all for the feedback! :D
The highway looks nice, but the castle doesn't look as nice.

Actually, castle is not looking nice because of shading overlap. It's perfect with a single shading.

I guess, he used a evening weather earlier before he tried London and then suddenly, he got back to menu and got noon. So it has two shadings which ruin the view.

Am I right, KingAndy?
Yes you are. I took first the morning time pic of San Francisco and then the London one at noon time. I noticed the buildings looked strange but I didn't care really much about that, didn't know about that bug... :P

Hey Jimmy, MM2 HD was stopped since I got bored of MM2, but it was just a phase and I'm still here :P

Well, for now I'm doing first 2 other works: finishing Kitchen track with Aaro4130 and the low poly Honda Civic also with Aaro4130. When both projects get done I'll come back to this one, and I have a lot of new ideas for it. :)

Not really, I guess I'm retired of MM2. :?

However, I have the mod file somewhere, tonight when I go to the pc I'll look for it and post the link to download here and on my website.

Here's the alpha version of the mod. This that you may find cool: lamp posts from GTA San Andreas perfectly fitting in the game (the ones with flags also have them using the original textures and fully compatible with advertising mods), a few new textures for some buildings and objects (some are pretty cool, others simply suck) and a few more stuff from GTA San Andreas. It also has that incredibly high poly London underground trian and stations I showed a year ago. This really need some huge improvments, like less GTA SA stuff and things like the train or some textures are too detailed for the game environment. But, why not, give it a try, I bet you can have 15 or 20 minutes exploring everything, using it for some higher quality screenshots, and trying to find the easter egg ;) (it's not that hard to find). Feel free to share your opinion about it, I'll be glad to read it.

A complete visual overhaul !! I really can't believe you lost interest in something that DEFINITELY makes MM2 interesting. I understand, it happens :(. I'll try the alpha. But the link sorta downloads your Ford GT instead.

Well, it's no more unusual to see long-ending MM2 project get cancelled because of many reasons, more or less obvious...
It's very good of you to give the alpha version of the mod, it'll surely be the same interesting to play, after you'll have fixed the download link. :P

I copied the Dropbox icon from the Ford GT page and didn't tested it, it's working properly now :) . Well, the pictures give a wrong idea, the mod isn't as awesome as it seems, since it changes just a few things.

By the way, I'm not sure if I said it before but it also replaces the light posts with the GTA San Andreas ones, the flares fit properly at night and the ones with flags are fully compatible with those advertising mods, since I UV mapped them with the original MM2 textures.

Sorry, forgot to comment . Just changes a few ? It changes them good .

This is actually great in many ways. Its rid of those unrealistic subway textures, as well as that lighting effect on the subway train - beautiful. And that fountain water reflection  :heartbeat: !! How'd you do that ? Mirroring the 3d model at Y-axis ? The mod is awesome anyway, great job with all that's done :cool3:.

About the subway station, the light fixes are dummiesboy work, the models are from Revisited with his permission. About the fountain, you got it, it works just like the lake of the museum of fine arts from Shader mod. Press V when you're near to it and move the camera under the ground for an interesting view of it ;)

After all, I'm glad to see you liked it. That fountain is one of my personal favorite add-ons of this mod, as well as the new entrances for the Broadway tunnel, the second one is a simple thing but give so much more realism to it, I only sucked for being too lazy to improve the 3d model.

I said I would no longer work on this mod but... I guess I was wrong. Franch asked me if he could released my mod here in MM2X so I thought, since I would probably not work on it anymore and stuff in MM2X should have greater quality, I asked him some time to finish some things I had laying arround incomplete and that were cutted from my previous release. One of them was the detailed Imax London Cinema I began making a few months ago and never finished it, and today I finally competed it. It includes a modified model of the version Dummiesboy did on his Revisited V5 but including the details of the entrance that can be seen trought te leaves, just like on the real thing. In 1 or 2 days this and some more stuff I'm working on will be avaliable to download. :)
