You can't change your nickname, only the administrators can do that.

Yeah you can, right at the top of this page is a line of tabs:

Home FAQ Search Profile PM'S Login\Out

Profile tab, you change anything in your profile ya want.

Okay, my bad. The computer resets the username upon clicking 'submit'.

Oh my... Storm_Sullivan, better don't reply if you're not sure of how this works.

Then, it's normal of any forum that an user can't freely change his nickname.
Only admins can do that, it's a known thing. Would you really change your nickname, Pujan?

Just plain 'Pujan' instead of 'Pujan2001'
