Sick and tired of living off of 775px in 2013? Here's your solution!

You'll need Stylish for this to work.

Install Stylish, go into your styles manager, create a new style, call it "MM2X Revisited" and add this code in:

Code: Select all

@namespace url(https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document url-prefix("https://www.mm2x.com") { a { font-size: 11px !important; } .postdetails { color: #999 !important; } table { border-collapse: collapse !important; } body table { width: 90% !important; } table table {width: 100% !important; } td.row2 table {width: 450px !important; } .postline table { border-collapse: separate !important; } .gensmall { font-size: 10px !important; } .genmed { font-size: 11px !important; } a.mcattitle { font-size: 12px !important; } font { font-size: 12px !important; } .title { font-size: 14px !important; } .menuline { border-width: 0 !important; } .bodyline { border-color: #888 !important; border-style: solid !important; border-width: 1px !important; } }
Hooray for wider MM2X!

Bugs? Glitches? Don't complain! I won't fix them! Why would you care anyways? MM2X looks like shit (from 1998) even with this mod!

I offered to do a new theme before, and all he wanted was a new header image (the same 775px) so his loss anyways, haha.

IMHO the website doesn't need to have wider pages for the contents, wide as the screen resolution width, all of them fit the actual wide. A restricted but appropriate wide means also have all the content at the center of the screen, as must be and comfortable to read. Just in the forum it can be needed, but still can be annoying have to read text going from the left side to the right side of the screen especially when you're using a widescreen resolution (16:9/16:10 monitors are now the standard, this solution fits for 4:3 monitors...). Look at MM2C forum for example, how it looks with a widescreen resolution, it's really needed so much space in width? Big images posted in the posts provide to enlarge the width of the page, and it's fine so, they don't get resized according to the the post area width or don't get restricted in the post area showing scroll bars.
Ok, good that you propose this solution for the few that wish wider pages sizes for this website, but you should feel at least a bit of shame from what said... If that's your conclusion and you think that nobody would care to this solution to have wider pages, you could well don't post it...
