Interesting have succeeded to get the model of MM1 Chicago. Many buildings and the props are missing. As it is, a simple porting into MM2 would be possible (all made with PKG objects and with a PSDL terrain under it), so without do hard work to get traffic and pedestrians to work, working bridges, etc.
At least, it's a first step.

Does anyone have Skeeball's old MM2 Chicago map? It could've had some buildings on it I could use to make getting everything easier.

I have the Skeeball's MM2 conversion of Chicago, his attempting in doing that, but it has just a bunch of buildings, yours has surely more of them. Check my PM.
Looking at what you've got seems that the buildings on it are the MM1 equivalent of the PKG buldings in MM2 SF and London, that are the detailed buildings; and so, the rest of the missing buildings are like the buildings made by the PSDL terrain in the MM2 cities.

I tested his Chicago a couple years ago. It was in pretty much the same state yours is in right now, nothing to gain from it. However, he did need to recreate every road in a specific way, so that BAI would generate properly. Since this isnt for MM2 though, it's not an issue.

For everyone who wants Chicago in MM2, let me explain where the issues would be for that.
Basic things such as trains and bridges work very differently in MM1. Trains are made up of several models that follow a circuit path at a constant speed. Trains in MM2 consist of 3 models that follow a point a to point b route, at a variable speed. And they don't even make sounds above ground. So the EL train would not work in MM2.
Then of course, the bridges. They have gates in MM1, these are completely impossible to recreate in MM2.
And finally, planes. Not possible in MM2.
There are also many other issues with a conversion, like making a CPVS file for the city. Rendering issues would be extremrly obvious without one, due to the inconsistsnt nature of building shapes in MM1. It would also lag the game severely, since every single one of the also considerably more detailed buildings would be rendering at once.
And finally, a vast majority of buildings are simple facade models that are assigned to specific places. You'd need to place every single one of those facades again from scratch again. Can you even imagine how much work that would be? And yes, this doesnt only apply to MM2. It applies to any form of conversion.

These are just the issues I can think of off the top of my head. Skeeball dropped the project for some of these reasons. I figured I'd inform you guys why it hasnt been done yet, and never will be.

Planes are possible but the other things like trains are pain in da ass to make

No they wouldn't. No prop moves that fast in MM2, or could make the sound. Planes also have a special property, they are always visible no matter what block they're above. So if it's above something the CPVS says isn't visible, it will still be visible. Without that, the plane would look really odd.
