MM2 in Windows 8

Hi! I have a problem. I have Win 8 pro, and i can count the frames that MM2 runs (very slow)

, but in Win XP and Win 7 it runned very good, at 60 fps. Can anyone help me to make MM2 run faster.

There isnt a patch for it for 8 i dont think lol. Did windows 8 come out? Im slow on news with it.

Windows 8 has NO good video drivers. I got abot 3fps in MM2. Just gotta wait, its not about patches. It sucks i know. I had no sound also in my MM1/MM2

Windows 7 all the way

Windows 8 is only good if you've an 11'' netbook you're planning to install a touchscreen in.

Windows 8 was done just for Ipads or computers tactile and not specially made for PC and it is highly unlikely that the game will not open.

Just to let you people know that I desinstalled Win 8 and put back Win 7.

Really the best thing to do

(Atleast until Win 8 runs MM2 fine

You know VMWare Workstation , in this program you can have four operating systems at the same time without having to uninstall Windows 8.

I upgraded to Windows 8 (the lack of the Start button does not drive me into depression) and MM2 was running nicely (integrated card only) at 30 fps.

I've been trying to get MM2 to work on windows 8 also ( my main OS now so no going back ) I love it except for the fact that it's not running MM2 properly at ALL, W.I.N.E runs it better in some cases then Windows 8. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Yeah. Go to your hardware website and get proper drivers for your GPU for Win8, rather than the ones that came with Windows. I got my drivers from Acer, but if it's a computer you built, you may need to visit AMD, ATi, or NVIDIA's website.

Hmm well thanks for the reply but unfortunatly I already have AMD Catalyst installed so I don't think that's the problem?
