MM2 for iPhone

I just read following on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midtown_Madness_2:

"In 2011 a fan-based development of the game on the iPhone platform began. The project was quickly scrapped due to many glitches and low budget. The game did allow modifications like cars or maps, that could be directly downloaded into the game from external websites."

I was shocked (in a good way) when I read that. Why wouldn't I know about that and why is there no topic about it here. I tried to find out who wrote that but I could only get the IP-adress and no username. Does anybody know something about it or was involved with it or something? I could imagine that aaro4130 knows about it cuz he does some iPhone related stuff.

Impossible. MS never released the source, how will we build the game for another platform? Or we could reverse-engineer it, and hope that MS doesn't sue us.
EDIT: Just checked the wiki, it says, "Citation needed", for which Wikipedia says:
To ensure that all Wikipedia content is verifiable, anyone may question an uncited claim by inserting a {{Citation needed}} or {{fact}} tag. Exercise caution before relying upon unsourced claims.

There were things bugging me about the page, so I cleaned it up. So many references to Hong Kong it disgusts me. I also removed a bunch of other stuff including that stupid iPhone version NOBODY can validate. You can thank me later.
