The Chicago city map mod Topic

I was wondering: Why can't I find the chicago city mod for mm2 in mm2x or anywhere else on the web? Hasn't anybody thought of it, or is it impossible? I know! you might think: ''Whats the point of having chicago on mm2 if you have it on mm1?'' Well apearently I cant download mm1 and probably other people cant either. So, I left a link of a youtube vid about chicago in mm1 just to look at it... Comment your ideas!

well Skeeball was in the progress of making Chicago,but sadly he told me that he was way 2 hard 2 motivate :/ but hopefully another person will start making it.

You aren't talking about a new thing, in past were already made topics about convert the MM1 Chicago to MM2. So far, it results impossible, so, it has to be redone, make an add-on city for MM2 most possible similar to MM1 Chicago, but, it's a really hard and long work also destinated to be unsuccessful. In past someone called Skeeball was indeed trying to do this, but he gave up for the above reasons.

No problem, was just to inform you. In this community now have been already done discussions about game modding possibilities, converts from other games, relations between MM1 and MM2, etc. Sometime something really new to discuss comes out. Many of us already know how's MM1 too.

Yes, but in the chicago city, there are trains moving, maybe thats impossible, or not, like the trains in london underground, and the planes too, like in the vid I posted up

Trains can be same as London, and planes and use the train's or sailboat's pathsets.

It's possible to do some things, but not all. Like trains and planes. Trains work differently in MM2, and planes don't exist.

Mark is the name of CarLuver69. That's new, but so far there's no proof showed by him, so, waiting for them.

Dummiesboy is right, in MM2 there's no special feature about the plane working, but it's possible have moving objects placed in the air by using the train's or sailboat's .pathset files; just look at the flying seagulls in MM2 Revisited mod...
