Seems a little empty here...

You know, I've kinda looked around, and browsed into a few topics and such, it seems a little empty here. It's understanding if you are busy, but wasn't this place busier and more active before? What happened to everyone? Just curious you know.

Nothing lasts forever, ya know? MM2 is getting older and people leave the community, like in a humans life the community is getting weaker and one day it will completely die. For some people this is not easy to accept, but it is that way!

That's why I contribute with the "favorite" threads about certain things about the game.

Yeah, you really make the best duscussion threads here, but that only helps to have some more action here but it won't keep the community alive longer. To do so you need mod-, car- and citymakers and people with skills, knowledge and experience. If we'd always have that here the community could survive for a very long time, theoretically untill the whole humanity dies out.

Of course the community would last much longer if we had the MM2 source code, so as to push the modding limits and make the game better. If we had a better game, more people would be attracted. Or we could just rebuild MM2 on our own code, which means similar menus, same cars, but all in HQ, better graphics etc. But of course nobody will want to waste their time coding a game that's already made

Though who will waste their time on such things is a question. Plus Gearing Game Studios and Reckless Driver: Urban may be it

I would do mm4 if anyone could help and if I had any idea how to use Unity, lol, I gotta read some tutorials I think. I know an employee from microsoft, I can ask him about the rights. He may not know much about it but I guess he'll know whom to ask about that, and I don't think they would be expensive cuz MS doesn't earn any money with the MM series anymore so they would be glad to get rid of it and even getting some money

And with the mm right we may also be able to get the source code for mm2, possibly, but all this will probably never happen, too bad...
