Yes! TexManager. Download it here: https://www.mm2x.com/hqtm-team/download.php?nWhat=2

You can convert .tex to .tga and the other way around.

You can try the AR Extract by Volky. Just run it in a folder with tex files and you will get all of them as dds or tga.

Well the last days were busy with programming.

Even if very few are interested this work yielded good results for me. I learned much about 3D models structure and representation and also learned much of ZM2 SDK. It will definitely help me researching other (newer) games.

AFAIK one should convert textures himself to/from .tex while converting the car, right?
In ZM2 I might be able to directly load textures from .tex format to material editor when importing and from material editor to .tex when exporting. It needs more investigation.

Impressive work, great have succeeded to make it. Agree with you too. :)

I don't really know with ZModeler 2, but in ZModeler 1 the .tex file format has never been officially supported. Exists a plugin for it to make possible load files of this format in the Materials Editor; the only disadvantage is that everytime the .z3d file is closed and opened, the textures have to be again loaded and assigned to each material manually.
