House / INST

Postby christoph0490 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 7:44 pm

I have a problem

I have created a house (INST-Object).
In the MM2 CityTool it exists:

When I put the city into MM2, the building is not there:

This is the very first INST I added. I have no Idea, what the Problem could be...

Can YOU help me please?

This problem with the INST objects is related with the PSDL block assignment, where if it isn't the one under the object, the object won't be always visible in-game and its bound doesn't work too. The presence of two blocks under it is another cause, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Select the INST object from the list and see if the PSDL terrain block under it becomes evidenced in red.

In the MM2 City Toolkit manual and documentation there's a quick explain on how do this, all through the program.

Why not just place them in your modeling software(using max?)?

Then place them inside C4D instead of MM2ct.

Hmm maybe the object is too close to the sidewalk or there is something wrong with the INST file

I'm curious, did you hit File->Save INST afterwards?
