Sup guys, it's been a while. I decided to get back into MM2. I used to be a coverter a little over 2 years ago and kinda forgot about MM2 but I decided I to get back into it.
I'm starting back simple with just a basic conversion; not my best work, but I'm starting small and trying to remember how to work the modding side of MM2 again lol. It's a Mazda RX-7 converted from Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It's nothing special really, just a mid poly car with some drift tuning. Not really planning on a dash for it. Going to get a little better at converting again before I worry about perfect details lol. Eventually I would like to finish my Pagani Zonda Conversion from 2009. It was 80,000 polys and I almost got it completed but then lost interest in MM2.
Anyways, the RX-7 is almost complete and i'll probably release it soon. Pics:
It's good to be back

Re: Kyle is back converting cars
You were still around in this community from time to time, at MMArchvie in particular. But, very good to be back with the converting business, you haven't done a lot in past. This is an ok car to return with the MM2 car making work.
PS: I've changed the title to a better temporaly one, but successively you have to change it to one appropriate to this section, like is for the other topics.

Better not, I still rememebr how hardly it works in MM2 and how badly it looks without reflections (this because of the breakable parts, made to let work this model in-game). In the meanwhile have been released other Pagani cars, and with the Juiced 2 model conversion by StanOfGB, this model is done. Also, Pagani cars haven't got a great amount of downloads despite they're supercars.Eventually I would like to finish my Pagani Zonda Conversion from 2009. Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.
I have a question I was hoping you guys could help me with, i've never ran across this with any other conversions. The rim texture seems to be transparent in game. It works fine in ZM but in MM2 All you can see is the wheel and the brake.
Pic:
I've tried resaving the texture in photoshop. I did 24bit TGA with no RLE compression. No luck, I looked in the materials editor, the texture is unused and opacity is set to max.
Any help?
Thanks
-Kyle

open the rim texture in photoshop and save it as 24bits (24 bits don't support transparency) or go to the channel section and delete the transparency channel . do it the same for brakes too and all other textures you want to remove the transparency
P.S. add a spoiler to the car this way looks a bit odd
